About Jasmin Wright
Jasmin Wright is a Relational Somatic Therapy Counsellor and Registered Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting clients to live more healthy and connected lives. Her work is strengths-based and client-centred seeing each person as the expert on their lived experience. Jasmin is passionate about supporting her clients to use their wisdom and inner knowing to heal. She believes in empowering individuals to connect with their authentic selves to live more fulfilling lives. Jasmin uses a collaborative approach to build resonance in the therapeutic relationship.
Jasmin holds a Bachelor of Social Work and has completed Relational Somatic Therapy Training with Mariah Moser at Opening to Grace Somatic Studies. Jasmin draws on her varied professional and personal experiences that include supporting families as a birth doula and home school parent, her work as a youth and family counsellor, program coordinator with children and families and community engaged arts workshop facilitator. She has twenty years experience working with children, families and adults through individual and community based work.

About Relational Somatic Therapy
A practice modality based on body-centred trauma resolution work, polyvagal theory, attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology .
It is a body based approach to counselling that emphasizes emotional resilience and relational capacity. It integrates body awareness into the healing process. Relational Somatic Therapy works with present moment awareness in the attuned and supportive embrace of the therapeutic alliance.

What can I expect in a session?
Each session is a collaboration between client and counsellor where the client is encouraged to notice the body's felt sense as they explore relational and emotional experiences. Your wisdom, experiences, and intentions guide our work together as we create space for healing and growth.

How long are appointments?
Please check for insurance coverage ahead of time. We do not offer direct billing through insurance companies. After your session, we will email you a receipt for your health insurance or taxes. Some insurance providers reimburse counselling with a Registered Social Worker.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes.
$100 per individual session
$125 for couples or family sessions
If for some reason you can’t make it to your appointment, we need 24-hour notice, otherwise, the full fee will be charged. If you are unwell please reach out before your appointment.
